A lecturer and scholar of Islamic Archaeology. Dr. Nitzan Amitai-Preiss teaches about Palestine and particularly about Jerusalem during the Islamic periods, between the 7th and 20th centuries C.E. Her research focuses on finds unearthed during excavations, some of them excavations conducted in Jerusalem and its environs.
