Fahmida Suleman (DPhil, University of Oxford) is the curator of the Islamic World collections at the Royal Ontario Museum and an associate professor at the University of Toronto (status only cross-appointment). The Albukhary Gallery was her final project at the British Museum as Phyllis Bishop Curator for the Modern Middle East (2008–18).
