Cynthia Robinson

Cynthia Robinson is a professor of medieval and Islamic art in the Department of History of Art and Visual Studies at Cornell University. Her prolific publication activity on the visual, literary, courtly, and religious manifestations of cultural and confessional interchange in the medieval Mediterranean world includes the book In Praise of Song: The Making of Courtly Culture in al-Andalus and Provence, 1065–1135 A.D. (2002).
