Heba Mostafa

Heba Mostafa is a historian of Islamic architecture focusing on the early period. Her work explores in particular the connection between religion and politics in the development of Muslim spaces, including mosques, palaces, and shrines. From 2014-2017, Mostafa was assistant professor of Islamic architecture at Kansas University. Mostafa is professor of Islamic architecture at University of Toronto.
