Michele Stella - <span style="color: rgb(1, 1, 1); line-height: 16px;">Environmental Design was a series edited by Attilio Petruccioli, that promoted and coordinated higher studies and research in the field of architecture, and urban and rural planning pertaining to the Islamic world. With a particular focus on the interface between people and their habitat, including housing, dwellings and settlement patterns, this journal was committed to realizing certain goals: an effective interplay between the different areas in urban studies, and a solid relationship of collaboration and exchange of technical expertise between major institutions committed to similar research.</span>
