أﻣﺎ اﻟﻘﺴﻢ اﻟﺜﺎﻧﻲ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﻓﯿﺤﻤﻞ ﻋﻨﻮان »ﻗﺼﺺ ﺳﺮدﯾﺔ ﻋﻦ إﺳﻄﻨﺒﻮل«، ﺣﯿﺚ ﺗﺘﻢ إﻋﺎدة ﺻﯿﺎﻏﺔ ﻣﺎﺿﻲ ھﺬه اﻟﻤﺪﯾﻨﺔ و ﺣﺎﺿﺮھﺎ. و ﯾﺒﺪو أن ﻣﺪﯾﻨﺔ إﺳﻄﻨﺒﻮل ﻟﻢ ﺗﻤﺘﻠﻚ أﺑﺪا ھﻮﯾﺔ اﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﯿﺔ ﻣﻮﺣﺪة ﺧﺎﺻﺔ ﺑﮭﺎ ﻛﻤﺪﯾﻨﺔ رﻏﻢ أﻧﮭﺎ ﻛﺎﻧﺖ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﺎﺿﻲ ﻋﺎﺻﻤﺔ ﻻﻣﺒﺮاطﻮرﯾﺔ و ﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﺷﻜﻠﺖ داﺋﻤﺎ و ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺮ اﻟﺰﻣﻦ ﻣﻮطﻨﺎ ﻷﻧﺎس ﻣﻦ ﻣﺨﺘﻠﻒ اﻟﺠﻨﺴﯿﺎت و اﻟﺒﻠﺪان و اﻟﻠﻐﺎت و اﻷدﯾﺎن. و وﻓﻘﺎ ﻟﻠﻤﺆﻟﻔﺔ، ﻓﻘﺪ ﻓﻘﺪت إﺳﻄﻨﺒﻮل اﻟﻤﻌﺎﺻﺮة روﺣﮭﺎ و ھﻮﯾﺘﮭﺎ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﻘﺎرﻧﺔ ﻣﻊ ﻣﻜﺎﻧﺘﮭﺎ ﻓﻲ اﻟﻤﺎﺿﻲ، ﺣﯿﺚ ﯾﺘﺴﻢ ﻣﺠﺘﻤﻌﮭﺎ اﻟﯿﻮم ﺑﺎﻻﺿﻄﺮاب ﺑﺴﺒﺐ اﺗﺒﺎع اﻟﻨﺎس ﻟﺘﻘﺎﻟﯿﺪ ﻣﺪﻧﮭﻢ اﻷﺻﻠﯿﺔ اﻟﺘﻲ ﺟﺎؤوا ﻣﻨﮭﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺮﻏﻢ ﻣﻦ اﺧﺘﯿﺎرھﻢ اﻻﺳﺘﻘﺮار ﻓﻲ ھﺬه اﻟﻤﺪﯾﻨﺔ.

 

ﯾﺤﻤﻞ اﻟﻘﺴﻢ اﻟﺜﺎﻟﺚ ﻋﻨﻮان »اﻟﻤﺪن اﻷﻧﺎﺿﻮﻟﯿﺔ و ﺛﻘﺎﻓﺘﮭﺎ« و ﯾﺼﻮر ﺣﯿﺎة اﻟﻤﺪﯾﻨﺔ و اﻟﺜﻘﺎﻓﺔ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺪن ﻣﺜﻞ ﻗﻮﻧﯿﺎ و ﻣﺎﻻطﯿﺎ و ﺷﺎﻧﻠﻲ أورﻓﺎ و ﻓﺎن و أﻧﻄﺎﻟﯿﺔ و أﺿﻨﺔ و ﻣﺮﺳﯿﻦ و أﻧﻘﺮة. و ﺗﻌﺘﻘﺪ اﻟﻤﺆﻟﻔﺔ ﺑﺄن ﺧﻄﺮ ﻓﻘﺪان اﻹرث اﻟﻄﺒﯿﻌﻲ و اﻟﺜﻘﺎﻓﻲ ﻻ ﯾﻘﺘﺼﺮ ﻋﻠﻰ ﻣﺪﯾﻨﺔ إﺳﻄﻨﺒﻮل وﺣﺪھﺎ ﺑﻞ ﯾﺸﻤﻞ ﻣﺪﻧﺎ أﺧﺮى ﻓﻲ اﻷﻧﺎﺿﻮل أﯾﻀﺎ و ﺑﺴﺒﺐ ﻋﺪم ﺣﻤﺎﯾﺔ اﻟﻌﻨﺎﺻﺮ اﻟﺠﻤﺎﻟﯿﺔ اﻟﺜﻘﺎﻓﯿﺔ و اﻟﻔﻨﯿﺔ و اﻟﻄﺒﯿﻌﯿﺔ اﻟﻘﯿﱢﻤﺔ ﻓﻲ ھﺬه اﻟﻤﻨﻄﻘﺔ. و ﺗﺮى اﻟﻜﺎﺗﺒﺔ ﺑﺄن إزﻣﯿﺮ ھﻲ اﻟﻤﺪﯾﻨﺔ اﻟﻮﺣﯿﺪة اﻟﺘﻲ ﺣﺎﻓﻈﺖ ﻋﻠﻰ روﺣﮭﺎ و ھﻮﯾﺘﮭﺎ رﻏﻢ ﻣﻌﺎﻧﺎﺗﮭﺎ ﻋﺪم اﻻﺳﺘﻘﺮار اﻻﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﻲ و اﻻﻗﺘﺼﺎدي و ﻟﻜﻨﮭﺎ ﺗﺒﻘﻰ داﺋﻤﺎ ﻣﺨﻠﺼﺔ ﻹرﺛﮭﺎ اﻟﺜﻘﺎﻓﻲ.

 

و ﻗﺪ ﺗﻢ ﺗﺨﺼﯿﺺ اﻟﻘﺴﻢ اﻷﺧﯿﺮ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻜﺘﺎب و اﻟﺬي ﯾﺤﻤﻞ ﻋﻨﻮان »ﻣﺪن ﻣﻦ اﻟﻌﺎﻟﻢ و ﺛﻘﺎﻓﺎﺗﮭﺎ« ﻟﻠﺤﺪﯾﺚ ﻋﻦ ﻋﺪد ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﺪن ﻣﺜﻞ ﺑﯿﻮﻧﺲ آﯾﺮس و ﻟﻨﺪن ﺣﯿﺚ ﺗﻮﺟﺪ اﻟﻤﺘﻌﺔ و اﻟﺘﺮﻓﯿﮫ و رﯾﻮ اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺘﻌﺎﯾﺶ ﻓﯿﮭﺎ اﻟﻮﻓﺮة ﻣﻊ اﻟﻔﻘﺮ ﺟﻨﺒﺎ إﻟﻰ ﺟﻨﺐ و ﺳﺎن ﺑﻄﺮس ﺑﺮغ اﻟﺮﻣﺰ ﺣﻀﺎري.

 

ﺗﺤﺎول اﻟﻤﺆﻟﻔﺔ ﻣﻦ ﺧﻼل ھﺬا اﻟﻌﻤﻞ ﻧﻘﺪ اﻟﻤﺸﺎرﯾﻊ اﻟﻌﻤﺮاﻧﯿﺔ اﻟﺘﻲ ﺗﺘﺠﺎھﻞ اﻟﻌﻼﻗﺎت اﻻﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﯿﺔ و اﻟﻘﯿﻢ اﻟﺜﻘﺎﻓﯿﺔ و اﻟﻔﻨﯿﺔ، و ﺑﺎﻋﺘﺒﺎرھﺎ ﻣﺨﺘﺼﺔ ﺑﺎﻟﻌﻠﻮم اﻻﺟﺘﻤﺎﻋﯿﺔ ﻓﮭﻲ ﺗﺴﻌﻰ ﻟﻠﺘﺼﺪي ﻟﻠﻤﺸﺎﻛﻞ اﻟﻨﺎﺟﻤﺔ ﻋﻦ اﻟﺘﻤﺪن ﻣﻦ ھﺬا اﻟﻤﻨﻈﻮر. و ﻟﻜﻦ و ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺮﻏﻢ ﻣﻦ ﺳﻌﯿﮭﺎ ﻟﺘﻘﺪﯾﻢ ﺗﺤﻠﯿﻞ ﻣﻦ وﺟﮭﺔ ﻧﻈﺮ أﻧﺜﺮوﺑﻮﻟﻮﺟﯿﺔ، ﻓﮭﻲ ﺗﻨﺤﻮ ﻻﺳﺘﺨﺪام ﻧﻤﻂ أدﺑﻲ ﻓﻲ ﻛﺘﺎﺑﺘﮭﺎ ﻣﻤﺎ ﻗﺪ ﻻ ﯾﻼﺋﻢ ﻓﻲ ﺑﻌﺾ اﻷﺣﯿﺎن طﺮوﺣﺎﺗﮭﺎ. و ﻣﻦ أوﺟﮫ اﻟﻘﺼﻮر اﻷﺧﺮى ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﻤﻞ أﯾﻀﺎ ﻋﺪم ﻗﺪرة ﻋﻨﺎوﯾﻦ أﻗﺴﺎم اﻟﻜﺘﺎب أﺣﯿﺎﻧﺎ ﻋﻠﻰ اﻟﺘﻌﺒﯿﺮ ﻋﻦ اﻟﻤﻮﺿﻮﻋﺎت اﻟﺘﻲ ﻣﻦ اﻟﻤﻔﺘﺮض أن ﺗﻨﺎﻗﺸﮭﺎ.
