This essay foregrounds an entrenched lacuna in the architectural historiography of Israel/Palestine ‐ the architecture of Palestinians with Israeli citizenship. Based on her experience as a designer, researcher, and teacher, the author here considers the absence of Palestinian architectural history from three conflict-interrelated perspectives ‐ the power to silence, the limits of access, and the reciprocity between activism and the writing of history.
