University of Karachi - <div style="text-align: justify;">Report outlining a proposed plan for the&nbsp;<a href="https://archnet.org/sites/9414" target="_blank" data-bypass="true">University of Karachi</a>&nbsp;by&nbsp;Michel Écochard,&nbsp;Gérard Thurnauer, and Pierre Riboulet, commissioned by the Government of Pakistan. The report contains detailed estimates of use and square footage for various faculty buildings, as well as overarching plans for the layout of the campus and landscaping. Local traditions, such as the gardens of the&nbsp;<a href="https://archnet.org/sites/1747" target="_blank" data-bypass="true">tomb of the Mughal emperor Jahangir</a>&nbsp;at Lahore, are taken into consideration as part of the inspiration for the design.
