It is considered as one of the powerful planning and management tools to address the project associated impacts...In order to mainstream EIA process in hydroelectricity development, the Royal Norwegian Government provided financial assistance and the Directorate for Nature Management (DN) provided technical inputs to develop this guide. It is expected that this guide will provide the users an opportunity to understand the approval process of EIA and relevant reports."
