Yaprak Karlıdağ worked as an architect in Turkey through the mid-late 20th century. One of prominent project with which Karlıdağ was involved was the Beyazıt Square Urban Design Project Competition, with Vedia Dökmeci, for which the team was awarded first prize in 1987.
