Nancy M. Abdel-Moneim is an Egyptian architect. She holds a Ph.D. in Architecture from Cairo University from where she received her Bachelor of Architecture. She received her Master's from the School of Economics at Catania University. Her previous research includes issues related to informal settlements and the government's response. For four years, she worked for the Informal Settlement Development Fund. Dr. Abdel-Moneim is interested in the process of resettlement projects and their effect on the dwellers' social and economic quality of life.
