This book is part of a series titled “Sivas: 100 Essential Works” published by the Municipality of Sivas. The present volume is made up of articles and presentations on Sivas created by Ömer Demirel. According to the author, these works will be a valuable resource both for Ottoman urban historians and the members of the general public interested in learning about the city of Sivas.

The book starts with an analysis of Sivas’ physical outlook and socio-cultural works of art built during the Ottoman period.
