This compound family house which accommodates three independent families was designed to preserve the traditional interaction between the users, yet giving the privacy needed by each individual family. It is situated in western Amman on a lot of land of 1000m, with a floor area of 350m2 and a total area of 1400m2. The use of floors is as follow:
- basement floor: multi purpose hall and services;
- ground floor: mother's house;
- first floor and part of the ground floor: the elder son's family; and
- second floor and roof: the second son's family.
