The Masjid Ibraheem of the Islamic Society of Delaware (ISD) is the largest mosque in Delaware. According to Omar Khalidi, it was constructed from 1990-1991 by Tetra Tech Architects & Engineers of Newark, Delaware. It is a one-story rectangular building with a pointed roof, and a squat white minaret above the eastern end.
In October 2000, the ISD broke ground on an expansion on the eastern side of the original masjid building. This expansion, completed in phases over several years, included a multipurpose hall, classrooms, a mezzanine prayer space for women, and additional prayer space for the community.
