On a relatively restricted site, the client wanted to build three houses, for himself and his two brothers, in addition to a family majlis plus guest rooms. The design philosophy basically relied on small semi-covered and protected courts providing shaded light and reducing solar glare to the internal rooms. The use of setbacks and the two-three floors of development provided movement and flow. The cladding was entirely with white tiles with framing patterns around the openings both arched and rectilinear.
