The İş Bank Cultural Publications building in the Caddebostan section of Kadıköy, was designed by architect Elif Özdemir as one of Türkiye İş Bankası's "kitabevi"s, or bookstores, exclusively for the sale of bank-funded publications, in 2008. The interior was designed with attention to unity of color and graphic design, with stainless steel incorporated into the walls and ceilings. In the glass vitrines and windows displays are graphic design works by artist Gökçen Karaağaç.
