The project was commissioned by the Ministry of Education to cater for the growing number of nursing students in the country. It comprises three blocks: the administrative building, lecture theatres, and the classroom block, equipped with simulation centres, simulated general wards, lecture theatres, a health clinic, research and training laboratories, and offices, all equipped with state-of-the-art technologies. The design aims at a user-friendly and "learner-centric" environment with the interplay of spaces with landscaped areas, and clustered, multi-modal learning settings that allow students to explore and find learning environments that best suit their particular tasks.
