Pont Sidi M'Cid

With a span of 164 m and a height of 175 m over the Rhumel River, the Sidi M'Cid bridge was the highest in the world when opened to traffic in 1912.  Designed by Ferdinand Arnodin, it is a suspension bridge with cable stays.  The bridge is still in use, the cables having been replaced in 2000.
