On a 1,000m2 plot of land, the house is in a small residential complex 10 km from Isfahan. It is designed on three levels, with three bedrooms on the third level and one in the basement. The building is inspired by the shape of a tree, with an entangled network of open spaces, semi-open and private spaces like branches, rooted around a central courtyard and sunken garden, both central features of historic architecture in the region. The house has a steel structure with a composite roof, with colour-coated cement as the façade material. The yard has a red travertine floor from a mine near Isfahan, and the pool helps moderate the temperature of the open spaces above it.
