Kulah Farangi tower is an octagonal structure made of stone that sits on the bank of the Karun above Shushtar. Its precise age is not known but it may date to Sasanian times. Band-i Mizan suggests that it may have been a watchtower, securing the town and overlooking the infrastructure below.
