Imamzada Abdullah is a shrine located toward the southern end of the old city of Shushtar. The shrine is notable for its large muqarnas dome, similar to that of the Shrine of Daniel at Susa and other shrines in lower Mesopotamia. The building is currently set within a park. A paved open square adjoins the building, from which its main entrance opens. The entrance takes the form of a monumental iwan with two minarets, decorated with tile and brickwork.
