The headquarters for an alternative energy company is housed in a former two-storey bank building that was renovated and redesigned to provide open office space, closed-office cubicles, and meeting rooms; the ground floor serves company engineers and technicians, while the upper floor serves management and corporate officers. Two metal freight-containers were stacked at the rear of the building to provide additional office space as the company grew. Energy needs are met fully through 64 solar panels installed on the roof. The building is surrounded entirely by an exterior façade of steel mesh to which unused solar panels are affixed, to demonstrate the focus of the alternative energy company.
