A luxury resort with 46 single-storey guest suites and one private villa is located on the 25-hectare coastal site of a former golf course; a master plan foresees 50 private villas in future. The double-height public facilities are located on either side of an open entry lobby; a wide stone staircase leads to the pool and lawns. A network of pathways through the forest leads to the guest suites and conference and spa facilities. Each suite is conceived as several pavilions around a central courtyard with private pool; four suites together constitute separate blocks on two tiers of the sloping site. The principal structure is reinforced concrete with masonry walls, and extensive use of timber screens and lattices.
