Bayt Abbas is named for Sayyid ‘Abbas b.Faysal, the younger son of Sultan Faysal b.Turki, (r.1888-1913). It was likely constructed in the early 19th century and is located behind Beit Firansa adjacent to the city walls. After the death of Sayyid ‘Abbas b. Faysal in the 1980s, the house was renovated but remained unoccupied.
