The population around Mont Rolland lives in small, scattered, rural settlements. This project, a community center, is the gathering point for the villagers. It consists of two mud-brick buildings, roofed in a variety of vaults and domes. No plans were drawn whatsoever prior to construction, and the buildings were designed in-situ. The villagers painted and decorated the buildings, and assisted in the construction.
