Alin Aq was an amir and cupbearer to Sultan al-Ashraf Khalil ibn Qalawun. Except for the portal, this early Bahri building is now in ruins. The portal lies just off the street to the right in an open area behind an iron railing. The canopy hood has a pattern of stalactites that hang from an eight-petal rosette. In the 16th century it was used as a residence by the Amir Khayrbak, to whose mosque it is now connected.
