The facility, the only one realised out of four planed schools, is a private, non-profit organisation based on European examples. The project is arranged on a spiral plan and grouped around a central administration block. The concept of a village cluster was applied in the design; the school makes use of the spiral as an organising principle.
The school comprises six "units" and an administrative quarter surrounding a main hall. The units are each designed for 50 pupils and are intended to be versatile, flexible spaces, reflecting the educational program of Al Itehad's philosophy.
