These are the "principal baths". They lie in a ravine on the southern slopes of the Fatehpur Sikri ridge. They are the finest baths in Fatehpur, and although quite close to the house attributed to the 3 Gilani brothers, they were probably not built by them for their own use, as is generally believed. There are no windows, and light enters from above through round holes in the domes covered by stone slabs resting on squat supports, which prevent the direct entrance of rain and light.
