Rajan Qattal Tomb
Uch, Pakistan

The tomb of Rajan Katal, in the Sufi town of Uch, is rectangular in plan, with a low, flat room supported by wood framing. It is known for the use of fine carved wood screens, as well as the use of glazed tiles along its parapet. The use of wood in the area, exemplified here, is traced back to building traditions in Central Asia.
