A mixed-use complex of private vacation residences and public tourist facilities. The village comprises: 1350 vacation houses; two hotels; seven restaurants; a gallery; a museum; and, other public services. Residences are 1-3 storey and are either single villa or condominium style apartments, each having three proto-typical plans. The village is spread over three bays and is surronded by the sea to the south and an extensive pine tree wood to the north.
