Ambassador of India Residence

Ankara, Türkiye

Built on a sloping ground at a high location of the city with a view towards the valley. The residence has a long thin rectangular plan with a frontage to the view. Wide eaves, terraces and cantilevered projections accentuate the horizontality of expression. The modular grid, corresponding to the reinforced concrete frame, is expressed in the treatment of the elevations, as well as in the design of interior finishes and built-in furniture.
