The center contains four buildings accommodating 16 flats on two floors. The ground floor is used for commercial activities. The four structures form an integral part of the overall composition of the community center. All four units are based on a wekala plan with shops on the ground level and flats on the upper levels. The latter are arranged around two central patios designed to enhance both climatic control and privacy. A main pedestrian pathway giving access to the ground floor area echoes traditional, semi-covered harahs.
