Salim Residence

Kolkata, India

A three-storey private residence designed to incorporate both Muslim and Hindu lifestyles. Wood screens, traditional doors, wood columns, and Mangalore tiles were retrieved from an old building to complement the project. The structure is built in brick, stone and concrete; wood was used for the roof and in openings.
