The Marmara is situated on the hilltop of an ancient ruin overlooking the city. Set on different levels, the complex includes an entrance hall, meeting halls, terrace, swimming pool, and indoor and outdoor restaurants. Bedrooms and wooden balconies open up onto a view of Bodrum and the Aegean, and are connected by a series of covered passageways. The foundation of the building is composed of concrete petals and connecting beams. Traditional building methods and local materials such as natural stone, brick, ceramic and wood were used for the construction.
