This single family house in the historic Casbah of Algiers was reconstructed from ruin to its original form. It is the first of 58 houses to be repaired or reconstructed as part of a larger rehabilitation programme, which comprises 1700 houses. This project is a three-storey, courtyard house on several staggered levels and including a roof terrace.
