Al-Walidein Children's House

Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina

An orphanage providing housing for 240 children in four separate buildings, as well as a school, mosque, infirmary, restaurant and sports hall. The construction is of reinforced concrete. Floor coverings are marble (for public spaces), ash parquet (for dormitories, living spaces and classrooms) and quarry tiles (for service areas).
