Khwaja Faqiron Mosque Reconstruction

Kabul, Afghanistan

The small Khoja Faqiron community mosque was in ruins when community representatives proposed its reconstruction in 2003. With significant contribution from the community, technical advice and material support was provided for the reconstruction of the mud-brick structure, which is now used as a community centre.
