Rectangular in plan, the mosque comprises an open courtyard, lined with an arcade covered by small domes, which precedes the square, hypostyle prayer hall. A small dome on pendentives covers each of 25 bays defined by the hypostyle arrangement. The men's entrance give access to the prayer hall through the courtyard, while the women's entrance is directly connected to a staircase leading to the women's mezzanine on the first floor. The three-tier minaret is placed on the eastern side, next to one of the entrances.
