This garden was conceived almost entirely on a construction setback of 4.5 metres around the house. Packed within the narrow site are a host of functions: multiple sitting areas, a pool with a cantilevered Jacuzzi that shelters an outdoor bar area, a large entertainment terrace with a long linear bench, and a fireplace/barbeque. Local 'kour' stone was used for the flooring, dark-grey basalt for the water feature, ceramic tiles for the Jacuzzi and pool, and red cedar for all timber components. Structural elements are of stainless steel and concrete.
