Rather than using a one-size-fits-all template for low-cost housing construction, this project attempts to define a solution that is responsive not only to its particular location (a difficult site, straddling an urban intersection), but also to the people who use it, in the sense of generating social exchange. The small residential complex consists of two blocks of one- and two-bedroom apartments, averaging 70 square metres. The reinforced concrete post-and-beam construction is infilled with brick and local limestone.
