This project is a social and training centre for production-line workers and managers at Hugo Boss menswear. Though the workforce is international, the centre has a distinctly Turkish flavour: its two components are connected by a space that pays homage to the gardens of traditional schools ('külliyé'), with their arcades and fountains. The 'sawn' cupulas, stone 'screen' walls and 'cage-like' windows offer further reinterpretations of the architecture of the region. Stone, wood, in-situ concrete, aluminium and coloured glass are the principal materials used in the construction.
