The campus features eight buildings, including academic colleges, a library and dining hall, all focused around a large courtyard. A central atrium with an elliptical light tower provides access to each of the colleges, themselves organized around courtyards to incorporate natural light and views. Employing a high-tech vocabulary, each element is treated differently according to orientation and purpose, creating a variety of form and style. The whole has been designed to allow for future expansion: the colleges can be extended horizontally or vertically, and many facilities have been carefully located so they can be shared with a proposed men’s campus.
