The 1964 building was made up of two interconnected parts: a main block - cylindrical and fluted on the exterior - housing the concert hall and a two-storey high rectangular structure in its front. The new part is added to the latter in the form of the bar of an inverted L and rises to the same height. The 600-seat hall is located on the left handside while the exhibition hall is accessed through a flight of stairs on the right.
