360° Leti is a series of small guest units, some protruding from, and others literally carved into, the foothills of the Himalayas. The buildings are constructed primarily of dry-stacked stone, in the tradition of the area, providing texture and weight. Glazed walls let in natural light and visually connect the guests to the surrounding landscape. The site is without electricity, so solar energy is used to provide hot water and solar lanterns. The project is envisioned as a temporary settlement designed to be dismantled in ten years, leaving minimal impact on its natural surroundings.
