The Badal Mahal Darwaza is a double-storeyed stone gateway standing over 15 m high and 7.5 m wide, flanked by two tapered turrets in a style reminiscent of Tughluq Delhi. The gate is freestanding and is believed by historians to be a triumphal gateway.
