Auguste Cadet completed his architectural training at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts in Paris in 1912. In 1916 he joined the City Planning Department in Casablanca in 1916, working with Henri Prost in the administration of Hubert Lyautey. He continued to work in Morocco throughout his life, making extensive use of traditional techniques in forms in his designs. He died in Casablanca in 1956.
