Kafr al-Gouna Village

El Gouna, Egypt

A new town, situated one kilometre from the sea, which started off as simple staff housing project for the growing resort of El Gouna. The project was well received by the client, and the architect was asked to expand the project by adding a museum, restaurants, and a small 25-room hotel to the existing 70 housing units, retail shops, and coffee shop. Other developments followed, including private villas.
