Écochard: Iran Album

Michel Écochard’s interest in monumental Islamic architecture and its geometry is evinced in this photographic album on Iran. Hand-made panoramas feature in this collection. He worked regularly in Iran, particularly later in his career. In the 1960s he undertook a master plan for the city of Tabriz as well as urban planning studies later in Tehran and Mashhad. His architectural work included sports facilities at the University of Shiraz and studies for other tertiary institutions.
